My English Learning Journey

Learning English is one of my main goals. I want to speak fluently and use English for work and travel. In the future, I hope to work in an agroenterprise or logistics company, and speaking English will help me grow professionally.   

  My family is very important to me. I live with my parents and my brother. Every day I wake up at 6:00 a.m., help with housework, and study. In the afternoon, I like walking or dancing to stay active. My family supports me in my learning process.     

 Crime affects many people and creates fear. In Colombia, the justice system tries to punish people who break the law, but sometimes it is not fair. Some people think we should focus more on helping criminals change instead of only punishing them. Education and support can reduce crime in the future.   

 Today, we need to think carefully about the information we find online. Critical thinking helps us understand what is true and what is false. Media literacy means knowing how to read and understand news, videos, and social media posts. It is important to check the source and ask questions like: Who wrote this? Why? Can I trust this information?  

 I like dancing, listening to music, and spending time with my friends. I also enjoy watching movies and learning new things online. My favorite type of music is reggaeton, and my favorite singer is Karol G. These hobbies help me relax and improve my mood.

 Hello! My name is Karen. I am from Tauramena, Casanare, a beautiful town in Colombia. One of the most amazing tourist spots near my town is “El Arca de Noé”, a natural park with animals and swimming pools. I love visiting it with my family because it is a relaxing and fun place.     

 This blog presents my learning journey in English. Through presentations, audios and written reflections, I am gradually improving my ability to communicate about real topics such as tourism, interests, critical thinking, and justice. It is a process in which I am still learning and practi cing every day to get better.
